How much do you care about your SKIN?
Imtiaz Super Market || Skin Remedies |
Isn’t it exhausting?!
Constantly worrying about skin that breaks out and not knowing which products
to use?
It is a fact
that it is completely normal for all skin types to break out, leave marks, and
catch a tan. The only difference is some skin types are more prone to it than
others. However, this fact doesn’t stop us from stressing out about the wedding
or party we need to attend and this tan or marks that just WON’T go away!!
I say… leave
these chemicals behind!
Stop relying on products that models on TV talk about because they usually either fail to
work or take way too much time! Plus, you never really know what their side
effects are gonna be.
Here are
some home remedies that I frequently follow at home to keep my skin clear and
radiant and trust me, they work!
TOMATO FOR TAN
Just got
back from the farmhouse or a beach party? You had a great time but now stuck
with a tan that just won’t go!
Don’t worry!
Just cut a tomato in half and massage it on your face, hands and wherever you
feel you want to remove your tan from. Let it stay for 40-60 minutes and wash
your face with clear water and you’ll instantly see the difference.
Repeat this
once, daily for immediate results.
Honey and Lemon
Here’s
another tip for tan. Lemon has acidic qualities which is why it is known to cut
tan. You can massage it directly on your face but if you have sensitive and
acne skin, there’s a chance of irritability for which, you should rather
squeeze it into a tablespoon of honey and then apply it on your face.
This will
help you cut off tan and make your skin feel smooth to the touch.
You can also
add lemon to tomatoes and make a paste to apply on your face.
Desi lemons
of good quality with a good amount of citrus is available at Imtiaz Super Market along with genuine honey; factory and home-made.
Ubtan Mask with some additions!
Okay so,
this is my personal favorite and I make and apply this mask thrice a week!
What I do is
that instead of a plain ubtan mask made in water, I shuffle and add some
ingredients are known to be useful for various reasons. So this is how it goes;
- Take a bowl and pour a tablespoon of milk
- Squeeze half a lemon into in
- Add one teaspoon of honey
- Add one teaspoon of Aloe Vera gel
- Add Ubtan powder and mix it all to make a medium texture paste that is neither too thick nor too watery
Apply this
on your face and neck for 20-30 minutes and then rinse it off with water. For a
whole facial routine, wash your face with an herbal or medically proven, gentle
soap or face wash before applying this mask.
All brands
of milk, genuine brands of honey, natural and organic ubtan, desi and imported
lemon and good quality Aloe gel, all are available at all stores of Imtiaz Super Market along with herbal and organic soaps and face washes that are good
for your skin.
These
remedies are personally practiced by me regularly and since they are all
natural ingredients, they have no side effects, whatsoever!
