Have you ever been to a supermarket for iftar?? Have you ever encountered such an event accidentally?

Have you been a part of the celebration of an anniversary in any branch or supermarket?

Imtiaz Super Market Gulshan branch has always been a super exciting branch for me cause it's big bit has so much to offer plus you can roam and roam and roam and still neither it would end neither your shopping the only thing which will end is your time…

This year accidentally I have witnessed the anniversary plus Iftar at Gulshan Branch and Tariq Road…

Let me show you some glimpse of the events… (Gulshan and TS Tower)

The biggest supermarket that I have encountered visiting this year, so many people at the branch level, so many products to choose from… so many categories so many floors and aisle to explore…

So, I entered the Imtiaz Gulshan branch with my team around 4 pm. The crowd there was crazy, everyone was busy in making their purchases, roaming around a few aisles were crowded and few were at peace. We made our way towards the HR room for keeping our stuff, bags and all the pieces of equipment…

As we were near the HR room, we saw so many gifts for the customers for the workers there, every company took part in our anniversary celebration, by contributing gifts cartons.

We have a plan of doing a minute to win it activity there. We (me and my team) were completely in action.

The team of Gulshan was extra supportive like literally, they were with us on the floor enjoying cheering the crowd making spaces for us and much more… whereas there was some mismanagement that we faced in TS tower.

What I believe is that we have been doing activities and stuff in Gulshan the crowd he peoples the management were all use to of us and how we roll.

But for TS tower it was first, as it has been just a year to this place, it was the 1st anniversary. A year to this place, people were excited and confused at the same time, because Ramzan is ending, it was Juma Tul Wida and obviously so little time we all have to cover and to do things that it was all a chaotic situation, but in end everything we did all the efforts we put in made a difference, the people enjoyed the crowd enjoyed we enjoyed and what we say, all well’s that end well…

Coming back to Gulshan branch, because both events that happened were almost back to back, like just a day or so we have to regain our strength… (laughs) We went to our fresh section, where we have played minute to win it activity, it was a really fun moment… We have gathered a huge number of ladies who were excited to play and win…

We were engaging ladies more than gents; all the gents were busy taking a pic and making videos of their loved ones who were involved in games.

Gifts were distributed to the winners and runner ups as well because Imtiaz doesn’t want to disappoint its customers.

There were several activities like peel off, pile up, spin wheel and lastly the exciting one, a buzzer activity which was literally the most super entertaining one where there was 30seconds and so many gifts to take home…

The excitement was high, the staff at branch (both TS Tower and Gulshan) girls or boys were too much enthusiastic about the activities, they were helpful kind and cheerful… We all made such powerful impact that it got crowded, everyone enjoyed a lot… Cheerful happy faces and voices and some sad faces because they felt wrong about the selection of winners. Well, it happens when there’s so much crowd to handle and so many people playing together all at once and so much of chaos …. runner ups to were happy because no one was going empty-handed.

Our managers were there too who witnessed all our efforts along with the games that we made our customers play…

Let’s complete the Gulshan Branch first and then the Ts Tower so that the confusion of both the branches can remain different…

Gulshan Branch:

We played the activity, we wrapped up the activities because we were getting late for Asar Namaz and the celebration which was already waiting for us such as cake cutting ceremony, everything that was arranged for us was on ground floor…

The customers

We took 5minutes of namaz break. As soon as we were out, we saw the floor empty and a supermarket was suddenly silent, so calm and quiet. Such a huge supermarket and empty all at once, since the staff was busy in cake cutting…

Near the iftar time, as most customers were gone, still few were trap in but they were requested not to make purchases and wait for azaan. In the ground floor, they have arranged small setups of carton packs for the sitting of girls so that they can open up the fast and relax. They served in (thal) a big steel plate, girls made a group of almost 5 and were sitting in circles, gossiping making prayers and relaxing…

I was stunned watching this peace and the setup, it was so peaceful and so satisfying to watch this unity and peace amongst us that words cannot do justice…

 All the boys were on the ground floor as ladies and celebration were on the underground floor.

We all completed the fast and the ritual of namaz begins, one by one girl were entering and exiting. There was a huge flask of drink from where you a drink as much as you want. Dinner was served even. All the setup and style were in short mesmerizing…

It was my first ever experience but in total it was an amazing experience. Around 8:15 everyone started to take their places, and everyone helped in wrapping up the dinner as it was time to reopen the branch for the customer, and trust me the crowd outside was waiting to get in as if everything is free….

In just 5mins the store was crowded with people. Since it was the anniversary, we offered everyone a piece of cake, as soon as the shutter was up, boys having a plate and piece of cake were standing to offer, and people were cheering and happy faces everywhere….

Our branches look more beautiful when they are decorated… 😉

Around 10:30 we left the place, but I tell you the crowd the team the people were so energetic that they want us to stay and play with them, but as you know it was Ramzan and we have to go home to do some ibadat, we have to say goodbye, else literally things were so smooth and amazing that me and my team wanted to stay for a little more time period…

Coming back to TS TOWER Branch:

TS Tower is a small branch if we compare it to Gulshan, and we shouldn’t have to compare them both since both are different people are different the people who come to shop there are different.

So yeah, it was fun, because as we enter there was no light, although stand by generators was there, but still….

Then asking the management team to arrange the tables and making things helpful for us, they helped us, and since it was their first anniversary, they were way too excited, I mean next level excitement was there.

We played minute to win it activity there too… a lot of people waited for there turn, and interesting part was there was a buzzer activity, in which there will be a buzzer for 30seconds and there will be gifts, everyone has to distribute and those who want to hop in were free to take as much as possible from the gift area…

Omg, that was a fun part which we were unable to capture because the crowd went crazy…

Same the cake cutting gifts within employees via lucky draw were distributed and much more happened…

In last the same iftar and namaz scene happened, which was again peaceful to witness…

I left a bit early that day so the ending for this is not really cool, as I wanted to stay to witness more craze and enjoy the games pictures and stuff…
