I was super excited to visit the Malir Cantt branch because as we all know that area is highly restricted and only the resident can go…
The traveling time or the way is too long to enter but the clean and safety I must say and the people there, wow so humble…
Moving on, the security measures which were very high, since we visited to make a video and we were not really sure of going with the camera inside… we were on the gate when we called our branch manager to please send the car as Careem or uber are not allowed inside the Cantt…
The car was already registered and the guy who came to receive us already had the card so luckily the things went smooth. We were finally inside the Malir Cantt after all the Hustle and bustle of gates and security checks…
I was amazed at all the beauty and all the neat & clean environment… The night view or even the day view of this particular branch is amazing. The location or the creation hats off to the team who worked day and night for this kind of art.
Although half of you might not feel or agree to what I said earlier then again everyone has their own vision to see…
I went inside had a complete tour of the branch, made some videos which you all can see are there in our Instagram highlights stories and also on our YouTube channel.
We were there for almost a day, so we have seen the day time the night time and the people, I felt like I haven’t explored Pakistan’s beauty, because there in that branch so many people were coming and going, families or single mothers, all kind of age group the hospitality and the warmth plus those mesmerizing colored eyes… oh lord, I should see more of Pakistan anyways lets complete the article and journey with adding some of the magical moments we had there.
We were supposed to take the interview of the head – manager of that branch firstly, on reaching there we started shooting the video because we don’t want to miss those chill scenes, and asked if we could postpone the interview for a few hours, till then we asked him a few questions and planned for a proper interview that we can shoot a little later.
In the meantime, as everyone knows that it’s a branch and it is in working condition, so work and shoot together are a bit hectic to manage, but the people there were so generous and the team was so good that they not only manage to fulfill our requirements also they worked and gave us some interviews, we started talking and shooting with every team member, supporting officers, floor in charge, customer care staff, pharmacist and the list goes on…
We have taken a lot of interviews, but the people who work there are so humble and soft-spoken that literally, their voices were all too low to be recorded…
Even we got a chance to meet the face of voice, I mean the voice we often hear in announcements within the branch are actually happening in the CCTV rooms and not a recording is being played. We got an opportunity to meet the staff and make a video even in that dark room… (giggles)
Well this branch has turned one Masha Allah and everyone was so happy and shock as they all were saying that its already a year? Really a year has passed? Wow, unbelievable amazing time flies so fast… and that’s why we have gone there to make a video and then for the celebration…. This was my first experience to visit Malir Cantt and now I know why people say so much about Malir Cantt…..

Some Fundamentals or the basis of how it started and what difficulties or where they feel challenges…?
Malir Cantt branch is the 9th branch in series of branch openings and very first branch in any Cantonment area of Pakistan. On 4th May 2018, it was inaugurated by our CEO MR. Imtiaz Abbasi.
Purpose and Dream:
The purpose of opening this branch was not just to approach new customers. Rather, also to pay tribute to the Pak army and other forces for their sacrifices and their respective services. Indeed, this branch is the interpretation of the dream of our CEO Mr. Imtiaz Abbasi.
Difficulties and challenges that the team faced:
Due to the military contest, there were many difficulties in the early days, top of the line to understand and follow the rules and regulations of the military area. But the team members turn impossible into possible.
Privileges:
This is Pakistan’s first and only branch which is given a 5% discount to every Army service person and 3% to every retired army person as a gift of their services.
Foot Fall:
Alhumdulilah Footfall is increasing day by day as we are trying our best to provide better services as this is one stop shop solution.
Categories that we have here:
As per customer’s need, we have added here different categories such as edible grocery, confectionery, condiments, beverages, crockery, household, frozen & fresh products like meat, seafood, vegetables & fruits, dry fruits, and pharmacy as well….
Hygiene factor:
Keeping the hygiene principles, we use food graded cutting boards for meat and seafood instead of working on traditional wooden. Every employee related with fresh category, medically checkup and vaccinated in every 3 months as per cantonment rules.
All necessary measures are brought to maintain the quality of vegetables and fruits up-to-date.
Pharmacy:
To facilitate in a better way to all pharmacy customers, pharmacist services have been provided all the time also giving up to 12% discount on medicines.
In addition, gift cards, loyalty cards, promotion articles including buy one get one free offer is provided as well.
Special loyalty cards are in process, especially for our army and Malir Cantt branch.
This branch is a milestone that we all have achieved together… Team Malir Cantt branch wishes all the best to the current branch also hope that this branch may grow more and achieve more…

Overall it was a great experience… I would recommend if you live nearby or in a mood for a long drive do have a simple visit there… I promise you won’t regret…
