Imtiaz Super Market Pays Tribute to All the Women on International Women’s Day:
Ever thought a World without Females?
“At least one campaign daring people to envision a world where women didn’t exist.”
Friday was/is International Women’s Day 8th March 2019, with organizations and brands all of the world recognizing women for their achievements. Imtiaz Super Market is also taking part in the recognition of International Women’s Day. In fact, Imtiaz Super Market branches or in Imtiaz Super Market head office we are celebrating a whole week for women.
Every year, everyone (brand or a company) is coming up with something new. Every year it’s a new hashtag trending, relating to women’s day, some new idea to display the same old message and to know that the world knows them and their sacrifices and struggles each day, every minute, just a day to appreciate and make them feel special.
“If you want something said, ask a man; if you want something done, ask a woman.” —Margaret Thatcher
Perhaps the most popular campaign on social media was a collaborative one in which, women on social media were encouraged to replace their avatar with the silhouette of a woman and the hashtag #NotThere - a symbolic act to draw attention to the fact that while much evolution has been made, there’s so much more effort to do.
We saw conversations around this theme all across the globe. We will be sharing the trend of #hashtags as #hashtags have tremendous power to spread a message and to unite. The era is changing, with much of our local, national, and global political conversations taking place over social media, no wonder this tactic of using #hashtags have become so popular.
With the help of using these #hashtags women are building a strong circle because they believe in #BuildHerUp because #she deserves much more #Love and #Respect.
“I myself have never been able to find out precisely what feminism is: I only know that people call me a feminist whenever I express sentiments that differentiate me from a doormat.” ― Rebecca West
Going for dinner and not paying the bill because you are a girl and a girl is not supposed to pay, break the stereotype by paying up the bill because we support #EqualPay. Even the discrimination while a growth opportunity in terms of increment #EqualPay because of she #DeserveIt.
“A feminist is anyone who recognizes the equality and full humanity of women and men.” ― Gloria Steinem
#ImWithHer no matter what she does, or how she looks, #EffYourBeautyStandards #SheIsBeautiful, she #InspiresMe because #SheIs #MyMother, #MySister, #MyFamily, #MyStrength, #MyIdeal, #MyMotivation, #MyDream.
Say #NoMoore and #NeverMoore to all these standards which makes you weak or which pulls you down, break your strength in any way, don’t let them stop you from achieving your goals.
Women are coming forward and telling out the truth, so #BelieveWomen when they say what they face while working, a powerful topic as it has been that of women’s safety and ability to freely occupy public spaces. e.g.
“When a man gives his opinion, he's a man. When a woman gives her opinion, she's a bitch.” ― Bette Davis
#DressLikeAWoman or get harassed by the eyes of co-workers or by any means that is why this #METOO movement took place gathering a lot of attention worldwide, along with #WhyWomenDontReport provide a space for women to speak about sexual assault. #IWillGoOut advocated for women’s safety when walking alone or to move abroad alone. #BelieveSurvivors because #WeAreGameChanger and #NoOneCanStopUs from believing on #WhatWeWant. (Breaking the stereotype)
“I'm tough, I'm ambitious, and I know exactly what I want. If that makes me a bitch, okay.” ― Madonna
To achieve some silent dreams, she has to be compromising, lets #MakeWhatsNext on a different level. We want to show that women can #MakeItHappen so that people can know, how strong they really are, how they are surviving in such a suffocating situation and so on. They want the world to be a better place, they want to help other women to grow and have an idea to face a similar situation, they help each other because they are together.
As they say:
“When you educate a man; you educate a man. But when you educate a woman; you educate a generation.”
#FemaleFounders are coming up with new ideas and giving a tough competition to the world. Women cannot be #WomenInTech, by saying “#cannot” or by restricting while choosing a career for women in music, or as an artist, we often listen that “#NOYOUCANNOT” because those women are treated as #NastyWoman. #WakingTheFeminist by powering them up, giving them #Equality and #Chance trying to make them be successful in that field, we ask them #CanYouHearUsNow? We need to encourage girls that their voice matters.
“No woman can call herself free who does not control her own body.” ― Margaret Sanger
Although all of these #hashtags are somehow somewhere used for mentioning domestic violence and for victims (in any way), to showcase all those history and stories of all the women.
“She is free in her wildness, she is a wanderess, a drop of free water. She knows nothing of borders and cares nothing for rules or customs. 'Time' for her isn’t something to fight against. Her life flows clean, with passion, like fresh water.” ― Roman Payne
From #METOO TO #TIMESUP, there are women who are coming up with bold initiatives in a male dominating world, #BeBoldForaChange believing in #SheIsWhatSheIs to #OneDayIWill change the norms in a male dominance world to some extent because of #StrengthHasNoGender
“Men are afraid that women will laugh at them. Women are afraid that men will kill them.” ― Margaret Atwood
“Men are afraid that women will laugh at them. Women are afraid that men will kill them.” ― Margaret Atwood
We have tried using all the hashtags trending since years for summing up what and how strong women can be. Hashtags come and go, and many are fleeting. But make #nomistake: these #hashtags are not just another passing vogue, or simply “having a moment”. They are a movement and WE, the women who refused to be #hushed or #fraught, are the movement.
“What’s the worst possible thing you can call a woman? Don’t hold back, now.
You’re probably thinking of words like slut, whore, bitch, cunt (I told you not to hold back!), skank.
Okay, now, what are the worst things you can call a guy? Fag, girl, bitch, pussy. I’ve even heard the term “mangina.”
Notice anything? The worst thing you can call a girl is a girl. The worst thing you can call a guy is a girl. Being a woman is the ultimate insult. Now tell me that’s not royally fucked up.” ― Jessica Valenti, Full Frontal Feminism
“He is a gentleman, and I am a gentleman's daughter. So far we are equal.” ― Jane Austen, Pride, and Prejudice
This year on this very day lets #PaintItPurple on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, and LinkedIn to show the world we are with #EachOther. Let’s #Pledge and #Vouch for each other and help her to grow. #Smile and #Pass the #Smile of making a #DreamPurple circle of women, where they can say freely and help each other without any #Hate and #Jealousy #Because of the world needs #Peace.
